Re: good ideas for sandwiches

I like to use left-over grilled or roasted chicken or turkey for sandwiches.

Re: good ideas for sandwiches

Try Alvarodo (sp?) sprouted soy breads (available in health food section of major supermarkets) with roast chicken or humus. I like the bread because it is very low on the GI index and it tastes like a multi-grain bread

Re: good ideas for sandwiches

Tuna salad with chunks of red onion and celery
Tip - if you don't like canned tuna, broil any fish steak (swordfish, halibut, tuna) the night before and refridgerate. The next day chunk it in a bowl with mayo, celery, and onion... yum

ground beef (with or without cheese, but pleeeez not processed cheese slices!)

fried egg

egg salad with onion black olives

Amy's veggie burger and applesauce (though you don't need bread with this!)

I don' eat peanut butter anymore, but if you do, try peanut butter and a pineapple ring (instead of jelly)

Why don't you eat peanut butter anymore? BTW, how do you respond to a portion of the quote? Thanks!

Not filling, loaded with sugar, high fat, and a poor balance of protein (compared to carbs and fat). Because I am trying to adhere to a 50/25/25 ratio, I find it nearly impossible to fit peanuts or peanut butter into my diet. Also, most peanut butters are processed "carelessly" - I just don't like what I know about how they are made.

Just testing!
Loseg, I like the first idea of just deleting what I don't want, after that, I'm lost with the paste thing.
