Not Enough fluid causes dry mouth?

Does anyone know if a lack of liquid intake on a daily basis can cause dry mouth with not a pleasant taste?

So, are you saying that I can be dehydrated and not realize it? I wonder if dehydration can be the cause of this annoying taste in my mouth!!!

Re: Not Enough fluid causes dry mouth?

Nope, no meds and I'm in my early 40's. Let's see...color of my pee is probably more of a beer color. I know that they say that you can pull up the skin on your hand to see id the skin springs back down. If it slowly goes back down, that means you're dehydrated, but, mines not. I also don't have that taste today, but, it's always on and off.

Re: Not Enough fluid causes dry mouth?

your pee should be lite in color(lite yellow) if its dark yellow means you are dehyidrated..you need to drink regularly everyday..
