A friend of mine recommended an (almost?) all-natural effervescent water tablet just LOADED with vitamins and herbs. Mega-dosage of vitamin C in it, a daily supply of A and E, some magnesium, zinc, selenium, potassium, and herbs such as Echinacea and ginger. It seems to pep up my energy level every time that I take it so far

My question is thus: Could the practice of allowing vitamins and herbs dissolve in bicarbonate soda water improve my bodies' ability to digest (absorb) those vitamins and herbs? I mean, we ALL hear those stories about many typical OTC 'mega-vitamins' coming out with our waste, half-digested

. Could there be a way in which I could experiment with allowing a mix to digest in soda water (this particular pill runs about $7 for 10 servings

!)? Is it possible that my body composition, or digestive system (not that I have many instances of needing antacid tabs, or anything, buuut?) requires something to help speed along absorption
