Question How do I store FISH OIL (Omega 3s)

I bought 2 bottles of Emulsified Omega 3 Fish Oil by TwinLab. I keep them in the refrigerator. It says on the bottle, Store in a Cool, Dry Place.

I was wondering if keeping them in the regrigerator would be fine?

I didnt see it say, Do Not Refrigerate or anything like that.

Also, one tablespoon of Fish Oil has 70 calories and 6 grams of fat... is that ok?

Losec,
I take my fish oil with some kind of juice and hurry up and swiggle it down. The brand I take is called "Health From The Sun" Omega 3, and it has a slight lemony taste. It's soooo good for you, my hair is really shiny. And, my skin isn't as dry as it used to be...I bet other parts of my body are benefiting from it too like my heart etc. I dunno about putting it in your salads, doesn't it taste yucky? What kind did you buy.

Yah, of couse your mom can take it, unless she has an allergy to fish which isn't common. Why do you ask?

What is she on pills for? And the fish oil I use recommends a tsp as a serving, make sure you read the lable cause they may want you to use a tabelspoon? And I use it in my daughters "V-ruit" juice which is a mixture of fruits and veggies and it tastes really good.

Fish oil is GREAT for the heart, however, I would make sure that she would check with her doctor cause fish oil can be a blood thinner and screw up medications for example, high blood pressure meds. Definitely check with the doc, and if so, I'm sure it will be a great benefit to her. I'm glad she's eating healthy too. My mother is overweight and doesn't eat right like like full fat dressings, butter. She has high cholesterol and is taking zocor for it but doesn't want to exercise but she has changed SOME of her eating habits but not the way I want to see it. Like she'll order a burger and fries sometimes when we are out but I don't always want to sound like HER mother. Unfortunately, she leads a very sedentary lifelsyle (no exercise at all, desk job) and it worries me. She used to be very thin and I don't know why she really doesnt' care. Does anyone have any tips on how to influence somebody to exercise and cut out some junk? This is one worry I have on top of my aunt having M.S. but that's another story.

I'm a strict vegetarian No meat, Eggs, Milk, Cheese, and have been for over 3 years. And you must keep all oil based vitamins in the refrigerator. I think fish oil has helped me in so many ways
