I am looking at alternatives to help lower my sodium intake. I go out once a week at work with the gang. We really like to go for sushi, but there is never any nutritional information on sushi. I know that Soy Sauce is high in salt so I avoid it. But things like Misou soup, rolls (california /dynamite), Teriyaki Noodles etc... I have no idea.
Any ideas or alternatives for our lunch that are to be low in sodium?
Sauces like terriaki, soy and wasabi are high in sodium. Also, soups may be high as they may add soy to them. If you eat just fresh sushi with no sauces and soups I think that you're good to go!
