My LDL was a little high [as stated by the doctor, the HDL was at a good level], so I've been watching my cholesterol intake. My question is:
1. How much cholesterol is one suggested to have in a day?
2. Is there cholesterol that's actually okay to have? In other words, if you see 40 mg of cholesterol, is there a food item that it is GOOD cholesterol?
I've been paying close attention to the saturated fat and cholesterol columns of nutritional charts for different foods, and even fast food restaurants. With the latter, it is quite difficult finding something that is within reason. Some places have nothing at all.
Anyway, I appreciate whatever input or insights you can add here.
Thanks!!
