soy chips

I have been getting into soy chips lately- they are really tasty, have 150 cal per bag, 2 grams of fat and contain soy protein. I usually eat a bag as an afternoon snack before giong to the gym.
The only ingredients are low fat soy flour, rice, sunflower oil, sea salt.
How healthy do we think they are?
Does anyone have any idea?
Are they secretly contributing to my slight weight gain?

Re: soy chips

I doubt they are contributing to your weight gain they are VERY good for you. The only thing I can think of for them too be bad is that they are carbs, so if you are watching your carbs they are not so good. But I love em, my favorite flavor is BBQ. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm

Re: soy chips

Thanks. I like the cheddar ones. No I'm not a serious carb watcher so I guess I'm good- I dont eat alot of them, but I dont count them either.
That makes me feel better. SOmetimes you eat things that you think are healthy to find out that they are doing more harm than good!
Thanks for the reply

Re: soy chips

They could be secretly adding to your weight gain, since they are 150 calories and have a lot of sodium in them. You might want to try eating just half a bag instead of a whole bag or look for something lower in calories.
