I think the Z bar is pretty healthy, as far as snack bars go...120 calories, 2g fat, 25g carb (3g fiber), 3g protein and plenty of vitamins (Vit. A 30%/ Vit. C 30%/ Cal. 30%/ Iron 10%/ B1 35%/ B2 70%/ B3 15%/ B6 20%/ Folate 15%/ B12 8%/ Phosphorus 20%/ and Zinc 15%. They have no trans fat and are 70% organic.
Actually the Z bar isn't really a "granola" bar...it's really a baked snack bar. There are these great new granola bars from Nature Valley called "Sweet and Salty Nut Granola Bars." They do not have all of those vitamins and minerals, and they are higher in fat and calories (170 calories, 9g fat- 0 trans fat, 19g carb- 2g fiber, and 4g protein). They are sooo delicious though- like a much-better PayDay bar.
Does anybody know of a granola bar that is not so high in calories, but has a good amount of fiber and is somewhat filling? I'm a granola junkie but I want something wholesome, not just a glorified candy bar.
