? about sprouted bread

ok i have a question about this bread..first off I can't eat it beacuse it contains wheat gluten..and, im gluten intolerant, sooo why do they write on the bag "flourless"..iv been giving this bread to my mom and, she's doing so much better with her arthritis ..is this a very nutrtional bread, anyone here eat it.. wasn't sprouted bread in the holy scriptual days.?? thanks

I use the Ezekiel bread (forget the brand . . . Food for Life, I think). I can eat a couple of slices a day over several days and have no problems. If I did the same with wheat bread, I'd be feeling like sandpaper was running through my system.

Technically, once the grains are sprouted (even though they only have a tiny stub of a sprout, which is the case here, I believe) they are a vegetable. When they dry it out and grind it, it's ground veggies, not flour.

But I guess there is enough of the "grain" left with gluten in it to cause you problems.

I love the stuff, absolutely love it! (Sorry to say . . . I hate the thought of making you feel deprived!)
