Well, I felt like I ate too many carbs, so I decided to just have fruit and cottage cheese for breakfast, but when I saw the Cheerios, I gave in!!! I had a bowl of cheerios and a banana for breakfast and now I feel bad. Is this really that terrible????
Didn't we discuss carbs the other day? There really isn't such thing as too many carbs, especially in a day as you described. You need to focus on quality not quantity. Obviously don't go overboard (eg. binge or eat many many cookies, breads etc), but choose lower G.I foods more often and you should be good to go!
I know, but you really must. Your brain and muscles require carbohydrates. In actually fact you should be consuming 45-55% of your daily caloric intake in carbs. Just make sure you choose lower G.I more often and higher G.I les often!
tdot,
Have you ever heard of Rick Gallops " The glycemic index diet" ? I think that you would really like it as there is a complete list of foods and their glycemic indexes. I refer to it all the time in my daily intakes, it has really helped me out.
