Graduation parties?

I am graduating in less than 2 weeks (woo hoo!) and I have a lot of celebratory parties/dinners/luncheons coming up. I am trying to put my worries about food aside, but it's hard when I know I will be eating and drinking a lot more than I'm used to.

I am going to have a stretch of about 4 or 5 days where I will not be able to workout and will be eating/drinking at these parties. How can I let myself feel ok about this and not start to get anxious? I want to have fun and celebrate graduating - not worry about food and calories!!

Re: Graduation parties?

hey there, I understand your worries and fears but hey you made it thru school thats a big acomplishment in itself!! So have fun at your parties and get togethers just try to drink plenty of water to keep your food flushed...Sample everything and get a taste of it all..just when it comes to a meal try to pick the healthiest you can pick...Btw congrats and were proud of you you made it!! Enjoy your parties you've earned it!

Take care, Sonya

Re: Graduation parties?

Thanks - you're right. I guess I'm more concerned about the drinking than I am about the eating. I want to party/drink and have a good time, but I get worried that it will make me fat! But in reality, I need to realize that 4 or 5 days is not going to change me and it's not as if I have an unhealthy lifestyle altogether, right?
