Not eating right??

I don't know if I'm wearing myself out or what. I've been watching what I eat for the last month-plus. More fruits, smaller portions, balanced meals, etc. and excercising. The last few days I have felt horrible - sick. Generally though, not until after dinner i have just been feeling exhausted, like it all catches up to me. Headache, tired.. today it makes sense because all I ate for breakfast was a banana. ( i was running errands all afternoon) Lunch an apple and yogurt and snack was an orange. Dinner, meat, potatoes and brocolli. Not a very balanced day. I was just wondering if all of the aching, sick feelings, might be from my body adjusting to the exercise and not having all the sugars, processed foods, etc.?

the only ever time i remember feeling so sick was when i detoxed and switched to nothing but organic foods. i couldnt tolerate the sickness that lasted over 3 wks and went back to regular eating.

....and before anyone asks there is no way possible i am pregnant.

that was ur lunch and breakfast? thats like....not even a snack. lol, u need some carbs in there...like have toast or cereal in the mornin to keep ur energy up and ur metabolism runnin. and lucnh have something either than fruit and yogurt, like a turkey sandwhich or sumthin..ur definately not eating enuf

Vixen,

I absolutely agree with Sammy. You need more carbohydrates, more protein, and just more calories . Why are you eating so little if you're so busy? If you're exercising a lot, your body will need a lot more fuel/food to keep it going. Eat more .

well i have been eating smaller portions and less of everything for a few weeks

then the other day one of my friends who minored in nutrician told me-- when i was trying to figure out my calories that i needed to eat 1800-1900 to maintain my current weight but to lose weight, to cut 500 out from that. so ive been taking in about 1200-1500 calories a day. today i had 1 cup cheerios for breakfast which is like 140 with the milk then lunch i had a side salad and chilli from wendys which is about 350 calories. then i had an apple for a snack and dinner, a turkey burger and salad for dessert i had a half cup yogurt and blueberries so i had about 1300 calories today by the time you add in the coffee i drank.

dont count calories and dont measure...it just messes with ur mind..eat when hungry, stop when full. that simple
