Hey everyone. I read somewhere that if you ignore your cravings for sweets for 3 days, that for most people, the craving goes away. If that's true, can I still eat fruit and smoothies on those three days? Those are my absolutely favorite foods. Is it just avoiding things like cake, candy, cookies, soda, juice?

Smoothies, no! (Unless you make your own with no added sugar)

ok, i do make smoothies at home. i use frozen fruit (unsweetened), 1/3 c. strawberry yogurt, 1/4 c. ff milk, and a few ice cubes. would that be ok? or no? i dont add any sugar.

I think it's pretty healthy, altho that small amount of yogurt has added sugar. I wouldn't beat myself up about it tho. I do suspect it will take you longer than 3 days to kick a sugar addiction.
