This is THE solution. There is very little Sodium in fresh natural foods so the answer is really v. simple. BTW there is, at least to me, a new take on the sodium chloride question ... it is the chloride that is the bigger problem! ... creating an acid balance that must be buffered to maintain homeostasis by depleting calcium from your bones. Homeostasis in this manner promotes osteoporosis (that's a keyboard full). 2nd BTW Welcome to MrPaul ... it's good to see another paleo person and with words of wisdom to offer.

Well, the BIG culprit is probably the lunch meat that I have each day and whatever meat item I have at dinner (chicken, salmon, ground turkey)... it's better than going to Arby's, McDonald's, or Taco Bell, but still KILLS you in the sodium department. Other than that, I just get nickeled and dimed to death by 100 mg here and there (milk, cereal, slice of cheese, etc). I have no problems staying within the 2100 calories, the fat levels, or anything else really (occasionally carbohydrates and fiber is low), but sodium is still completely gone over the line.
