Re: Whey Protein...

I'm okay with it but I'm relatively new to it (used it only twice...makes for thicker tshakes than soy.)

Anyhoo, if whey protein turns your stomach, give soy protein a try..I've used it for years with no problems. Maybe it will be gentler to your stomach. The amino acids are very similar but the source proteins are markedly different and some people may be allergic to one or the other.
Even among the brands of whey protein differ considerably from one another in concentration, processing, etc.

How do you take it?

Re: Whey Protein...

If you are against soy, Naturade has a great protein shake called "Soy Free Veg Proten booster." and contains all of the essential amino acids from plant sources. I'm not totally against soy by the way, I use soy milk in my cereal and don't drink it everyday. Maybe every other day. Anyways, the naturade doesn't taste to great but you could add stuff to it. Maybe it's the brand your taking. The brand that I use is from EAS and I tolorate it fine, and I seem to be very sensitve to quite a lot of foods like wheat and milk. Some brands contain more lactose in it than others. EAS is hydrolyzed and claims to be lacotse free. Are you lactose intolorant?
