i am looking for any info i can get as to how much sugar is OK. i try to watch sugar, and i dont drink juice soda, and try to avoid icecream, blah blah, no candy but i have noticed that the cold cereals i have in the morning have a lot of suga, so now im wondering how much really IS a lot of sugar. ive looked everywhere else online, and cant seem to find any info.
if anyone can give me adivse or point me in the right direction, it would be awsome! thankyou
It depends. Sugar is useful only for the production of energy; any excess is converted to glycogen if your liver and muscles are low or FAT if not.
If you have a ttendency towards high blood sugar or you are overweight, the less sugar the better.
Like Marie said, there is no need for sugar, EVER, except for the tiny minority of diabetics who have OD'd on an insulin shot!.
The body can make all it needs from starches, proteins, and even a little from pure fat!
