Question Laxitives??


Have any of you tried to take laxitives before. Such as Fibre tablets or anything simular to a laxitive. If so can you let me know what your end result was?
I know its not healthy but im really depressed.. I just started to take them.

Sweetheart, please don't take laxitives for anything other than constipation!!! Do the words anorexia and bulemia mean anything to you? I am starting a diet and exercise plan. I just started it yesterday. I am also keeping a daily journal of my food intake and exercise. I will be more than happy to be a support buddy for you. I am not claiming to be a professional when it comes to diet and exercise, but I know that taking laxitives to lose weight is very wrong. If you would like any helpful pointers on developing a healthy lifestyle, there are many well educated individuals on this board that will be more than happy to help you. Trust me I have tried everything from prescription diet pills, which worked for awhile, to everything otc. And I have learned that it takes education, determination, healthy eating habits, and exercise. You can do it. Just do it the right way so you can stay healthy and keep the weight off. By the way I know how it feels to be depressed, so I am not comming down on you. I'm just trying to help. If you need support I will do my best. Good Luck and God Speed

I have experience with laxatives, and a word of advice is don't mess with them!!! Unless you really need to go and it isn't coming out. They messed up my system big time--Not only do they make you go at first (which feels great b/c you're just purging, essentially) you end up with a lot of gas, pressure, bloating, and a really fun one...blood in your stool! Everyone loves that! Just don't do it, it's not a healthy way to lose weight, and it's not that effective either, between the bloating and the gas, you feel just as heavy as you normally are.

Just try drinking lots of water every day and you'll feel better...you'll pee so much that you'll feel thinner and better about everything. Good luck and hang in there!
