I have never used the 3-day diet, so I don't know how it works. But, ANY diet that creates RAPID weight loss (and that, apparently does) is most likely just eliminating 'water weight', especially is it all came back right away. Sensible eating (eliminate processed and high-fat foods and eat LOTS of fresh fruits and veggies) along with exercise is still your best bet.
There are no quick fixes to weight loss. Any diet or pill that provides a quick fix is going to do you more harm than good.
The weight didn't come on overnight, it's not likely to go away that fast, either.
