i read this book on weight once, and in it the author suggested a "half" way to eat everything. meaning, you only eat half of whatever it is you want to put in your mouth.
has anyone done this before? does it really work? i mean, sure, the whole point of half is eating less...but don't you just wanna cheat once in a while and eat the whole thing?

Money can buy happiness temporarily...whoever said it can't?

I remember when Dolly Parton lost all her weight, she said that she eats whatever she wants, but just takes a bite or two. I think it's a good system because if you deprive yourself of things you like, it's just like "the grass is greener", you want it all the more. I've also heard where some people chew the food, but don't swallow. Of course this couldn't be done in a restaurant....obviously.
It sounds very tempting to cheat. I prepare small meals for myself and eat them slowly. If I am still hungry, I have a small snack in an hour or two. It is easier to go a little hungry if you know that you can have a meal or a snack soon. What you shouldn't do is skip meals completely, because you tend to focus on your hunger and eat more when you do eat.
