I am not overweight at all. I am about 115-120 and am 5'5. I do work out everyday and lift 3 times a week. On top of going to the gym I play tennis a few times a week, basketball 2 times a week in a league, and bike ride. I just can't seem to drop those last 5 pounds. This is what I eat in a typical day:
Breakfast-Special K with skim milk and a banana.
Lunch-yogurt or salad
snack-protein drink or baby carrots or pretzels and salsa(I know pretzels aren't the best. I also drink fat free/sugar free flavored coffee)
dinner-I don't eat red meat or pork so I have chicken or fish w/at least 2 veggies and a sweet potato, rice, or salad.
I do drink diet soda-is that part of the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
The soda could be the issue. The aspertame and phosphates in soda pop do all kinds of thintgs to the body. Try water or tea instead for a couple weeks and see if that helps. Also, you should _try_ to drink about a gallon of water a day. I know it sounds like a lot, but I keep those 16 oz bottles around and try to drink one of those every 2 hours or so and it doesnt seem like so much. It helps your body flush toxins & other garbage and keeps you hydrated.

I definately agree with Kennedy, you body needs calories. Everyone thinks it is the other way around. Try eating a snack between both meals. Eat some more veggies with dinner, they have fibre in them and fibre is really important for losing weight. The more smaller meals you eat the more your metabolism will work and that means burning even more calories. Cut down on soda also, I use to drink 3 cans a day and now I drink maybe 2 cans a week and have noticed a huge difference. Get more cals at lunch and you should be OK, you are really active.
