Post Chromium picolinate

I want your opinion...I was taking Chromium picolinate along with the standard vitamins to loose weight. I took it for approximatley 2 months. I didn't really lose much weight, maybe 3-4 pounds but I think that because I took this, it gave me the condition known as erosive esophagitis.
My doctor put me on Nexium for 7 weeks and I have improved 100%. I was wondering if anyone else thinks that these "fat burning" products are harmful to your digestive system??

Chromium picolinate is actually not a fat burner. It's required (in small amounts) in the human body for proper glucose/insulin metabolism.

It has been shown in studies to marginally improve glucose usage in daibetics; and it has been shown to have virtually no effects, weight loss wise, in humans. However, it is good for weight loss in rats and, if memory serves, chickens.

Like many minerals, excessive amounts can be harmful. Regardless, this is an ineffective weight loss supplement for people.

Thumbs up

Actually, that is not true...I lost 10 pounds in a month using Chromium and walking. I wasn't hungry and it gave me energy
