Sorry, I have a friend who has gone down that route and because of him I looked into it too. He is rapt in it but not for its muscle toning effects - more for energy etc. But its effects are going to differ depending (at the very least) on whether you are male or female. Don't expect the same effects if you are female.
I do a lot of running and weight training, I am 43 and female. Its not an option for me.
By tone, I mean the ability to build muscle when weight training, not trying to get more cut.
I seem to have little ability to build muscle and I have wondered if DHEA would help. Since muscle uses fat, I wonder if a good way to start losing is to build muscle tone. I have read somehting about this.
