Drastically reduced calorie intake and taking Lysine, healthy?
I'm a highschool athlete, 5'9" 145 female, very active 5 days a week, and I recently drastically reduced my calorie intake from about 1500 to about 500 a day. I did so mainly to reduce my body fat, and shed a few pounds. To help with the process, I began taking Lysine tablets (amino acid) to help burn the fat, 4 times a day. I dont eat breakfast or lunch, and then partake in about 2 hours of physical activity. I'm a very healthy eater, so I eat a good dinner at night, but only about 400 calories. What exactly am I doing to my body by reducing my caloric intake and is what im doing going to give me the results I want?
