| | Question about Calories
Why is it your body goes into the starvation "mode" or whatever if you don't eat enought calories or fat? If I eat 6 times a day, throughout the day, but keep my calories under 1200 and fat under 20 will my metabolism really slow down? I have finally shrunk my stomach so I can eat less and get full, and my appetite has really decreased, which is good because I used to be hungry all the time. Now that I have gotten my eating under control I am hoping to lose some weight, but worried about my metabolism. Oh and I also do some sort of exercise everyday. It just doesn't make sense to me that my body would think it isn't getting any food, when I open my mouth and consume something 6 times a day. Just curious. I appreciate any advice.
