Hi kendy, I lost 15 or so lbs. with it several years ago, took about 3-4 months. I used the peanut butter/chocolate bars mostly. The shakes upset my stomach (i'm kinda a weenie there). It worked well, and very tasty.
The one problem I DID have is I feel it trained me to require something sweet at least one meal each day. It's been at least 3 1/2 years, and I'm still fighting the sweet cravings and have gained the weight back PLUS!
So, it was only a temporary success for me. Your experience could be totally different. Besides, to lose such a low # of lbs., you hopefully, would not need it long enough to establish a behavior around it. Then, there's always the possibility you're a tougher cookie, anyway, and WOULDN'T establish a behavior around it
