I've been experiencing a burning sensation on my tongue. My tongue looks like a road map. I have had this in the past and it does go away. I was wondering if this could be a vitamin dificiency. Has anyone experience this?

Could it be a food allergy? Did you eat anything differently?? When I eat walnuts my tongue BURNS!!

That's a thought, it could be an allergy to food, I don't remember eating anything different. I do like spicy food, I'll pay more attention to what I eat and see if it happens again. It's been four days and it's almost gone. Thanks for the reply.

Just off the top of my head... I do remeber hearing about burning on the tongue in connection with some deficiency, but I don't remember which vitamin... do you have any of those tables where they list the deficiency symptoms? Or maybe look it up online somewhere?
