vitamin C helps the body regenerate vitamin E. alpha lipoic acid seems to help preserve or restore both.
magnesium apparently helps calcium absorption, although clearly not so much as does vit. D (which is one of the most common deficiencies)
the idea that protein interferes with or depletes calcium seems more myth than fact. some older studies hinted at such a relationship, but high protein diets are the most effective treatments of osteoporosis in the studies done in recent years.
(By the way, copper deficiences are very rare in our society, and zinc deficiencies are not. So we should not avoid zinc, i don't think.)
