Question Healthy Snacks

What sort of food are consider as Healthy Snacks?

Hello, I think it all depends on what diet you're on. Healthy snacks to me would be fresh fruit, lite string cheese, and vegies. Somewhat harmless (I did not say totally harmless, because too much of these may not be a good idea for me while they may be ok for someone else.)snacks are snacks I eat, but try to limit the amount of those type of snacks. Somewhat harmless to me are things like popcorn, (It depends on what is on it, so it can fall under the healthy category.) fat free chips, (I have got to have my chip fix, sorry guys.)baked tortilla chips, pretzels, beef jerky, cereal, (Got to have the sweetened stuff) rice cakes or treats, corn cakes, nuts, homemade low fat/fat free desserts, low fat granola bars, and seeds. Things I consider evil for me, but do occationally have some (half to 1 serving.) Hersey's kisses, Sweet Tarts, low-fat Doretos, and sour gummy worms. Stuff I will not touch are store cookies, regular chips, healthy choice products, candy bars, and snackwells. This is cool. What's eveyone else eating?

I am a health-food person. The snack that I have during the day is usually fruit - an apple most of the time, other times it will be strawberries, grapes, pineapples (but they have a lot of sugar). Other snacks that I consider healthy are light fat-free yogurt and cheese sticks (they even have some with reduced fat!). I am trying to think of what else I can eat for a snack other than fruit, and I have been considering maybe apple sauce, graham crackers, and Fig Newtons. Also I've been looking for granola bars that don't have so much fat/sugar.

Healthy Choice products are pure junk. They may be low in fat, but are loaded with carbs, sodium, and a ton of chemical preservatives and artificial flavors. There is nothing healthy about them. Try to eat fruit, or carrot sticks.
