A high protein diet is not the worst--the research says its very effective and protective of non-fat tissue and organs.
BUT, if you want to do things this way, don't just dive in. It is worth getting the Atkins books, or Protein Power, or like that to learn how to do it right.
Still, I understand that no diet works for everyone, and you mayhave to try more than one form of eating regimen to find the one that suits you best. I think, though, that if you study up a bit, you may find a high protein diet works for you, as it has for me and many others.
