I've been on the Xenical and could answer some questions, however you can only go on it if you see a doctor (well in Canada) as it requires a prescription. Along with the prescription when you get it filled there is an 800 number supported by registered nurses who will help you out while on the medication.
I'm not sure what the legal driving age is where you are, it is 16 here and if that is what it is where you are then I would think having to take medication to loose weight is drastic....I'm not trying to be insulting.
Xenical is a fat blocker and can only block so much fat. If you eat more fat at a mean or through the day then what you are suppose to there are some really gross and severe side effects which include gas, cramps and really, really gross bowel movements. Also the gas is usually not only air it is also liquid as the fats that your body can not process are realeased from your body. I actually had to thow away a chair as I was so grossed out by this and couldn't get the stain out of the cushion. I'm not trying to offend, I'm just being honest. My sister, a friend and I have all nick named this prescription the "four letter word" (without going into to much offensive detail) pill.
Hope this helps.
