I lost .64 pounds per day on average, for 1 month. Before that it was appx. the same pace, but i didn't track it as accurately-- but i'm pretty sure i sustained .5 pounds per day for nearly 3 months.
I don't know if just anyone can do it, but it's possible. I eat mostly protein and of course fruits, veggies, and fish. Appx. 1800 calorie deficit every day is maintained-- requiring me to eat at least 7 meals per day, including one in the middle of the night to prevent catabolism. I actually formulated a casein/peanut butter/soy milk solution to avoid having to get up in the middle of the night; the mixture takes over 7 hours to fully absorb.
Careful diet and excercise planning is required. Eating the correct portion of protein/carbs/fats is also necessary. My body is very content with the ratio 50/35/15 protein/carbs/fats. Pretty much all carbs are taken in before 4PM, and all fats are taken in with the protein shakes, fish/meat, and peanut butter. It takes a while to determine how your body responds to different things.
Oh and you also need the correct supplements, because it's near impossible to get enough nutrients and fats in your diet- I take extra fish oil, a multivitamin, and a few other vitamins form fit to my particular diet/body/excercise habbits. |
