Talking Just exercise

Do i have to change my eating habits to lose weight? I'm thinking i can just exercise more..and the weight loss will take longer. True? Good idea? I find it hard to stick to a 'diet'. I'm good for a week then im STARVING the next whole 2 weeks.

its all about calories in equalling calories out...so yes. eat what you want but do some cardio and youre set

A couple of weeks ago there were threads on this on the weight loss board. I remember one was by someone who had become a postal worker and lost a lot of weight just from the walking required by the job!

Yes! Exercise more.
I had a job in an auto parts warehouse a couple of years ago. Not only did the job keep my weight down, I had better muscle tone than any women there. Even the twenty-something women. I was 46 and running circles around everyone else, even the men. Now that I don't work there anymore, I have to count calories. No fun. Plus my muscles aren't as hard now and I don't have as much endurance. I don't miss the soreness I had every day, but I sure do miss the workout.

Well that depends on what your diet normally is, and how much and what kind of weight you want to lose. I know what the other posters said, and it is true to an extent, but remember this: no amount of exercise can combat a poor diet when it comes to improving your physique. I am more curious as to why you can't stick to your diets. Intelligent, progressive dieting is not difficult. Most people just try to make drastic changes in their eating habits in a week. It won't happen and you will never stick to it. A smart diet will start where you are at, and slowly progress week by week until you are eating where you want to be at.
