Bananas are exceptionally good for you. And it will stimulate the brain. However, it's extremely fattening. What I sometimes do, for a desert, is cut a banana in half, add a teaspoon of peanut butter. This is a healthy snack. A full banana a day will add calories, as someone mentioned above.

I think bananas are delicious and filling. They have 3.1 grams of dietary fiber, a goodly pile of fiber, lots of potassium, and almost no fat.
A snack WELL worth the 110 calories.

I try to have one a day if I can time them right, which is tough. (I can't stand the taste of an underripe banana.)
