Arrow Peanut butter everyday

Hi!
I have generally had a craving for peanutbutter every morning for about two years. I eat the natural kind with a banana or whole wheat pancakes or oatmeal. I usually eat it everyday about one to two tablespoons. Will this keep me from loosing ten pounds. I am 5'6'' 128lbs and trying for 118. I was wondering for new meal options or ideas. I also wonder if I am hypoglycemic because of other issues throughout the day...any ideas...

The peanut butter itself will not prevent you from losing weight. Eating too many calories will do that. Although peanut butter is high in calories, it is actually a good source of healthy fats. I say keep eating it, as long as you aren't eating too much of that or anything else. Good luck!

Nope, eating peanut butter every day will not prevent you from losing weight. Restricting fats in your diet can actually make it HARDER to lose weight, so you're better off keeping the peanut butter. It's a delicious, healthy way to get the recommended amount of "healthy fats" you need everyday. Unless you're eating a whole jar every single day, you don't have anything to worry about!

Go ahead and enjoy!
As long as you keep it to 1-2 T (and figure the couple hundred calories into your daily diet), it will not harm your efforts to lose weight.

Actually, you should be fine. I had gone on a low carb regimine a couple of years ago to lose some weight, and after I reached my goal, I found that I enjoyed the PB that I had been snacking on so much, I became "hooked" on it, and ate it everyday. I even ate it off the spoon as a snack. My weight stayed down just fine. I still love it. I always buy the natural kind without trans fats or sugar in it, nothing but salt and peanuts.

You may want to lower the bananna, pancakes and oatmeal a bit if you are wanting to lose that 10 lbs. That's an lawful lot of carbs, and not a lot of protein. If you like eggs, I suggest replacing some of that with them, or cottage cheese maybe. Or a protein shake.
