need diet for pancreatitis and gastroparesis

I am in need of some dietary advice and I hope there is lots out there. I suffer from gastroparesis (meaning my stomach doesnt like to empty) and I also have pancreatitis. So I am in need of foods that are not only low in fat but also easy to digest. I am not able to eat most meats so I need ways to get protein but also just need help understanding what foods would be good for me with both of those requirements. Any help??

Re: need diet for pancreatitis and gastroparesis

sam,

Just to cover your protein needs with a mild, palatable easy to digest food, why not try soybean curd, also called TOFU. It can be eaten cold with a squirt of soy sauce or stir fried with vegetables or spices.
It is a good meat substitute.
