STOP!!!! Go to the sink and drink an 8oz. glass of water and come back.

Good, now do some research on how much water a day is good for your health. Put the DIET soda down and pour it down the sink. Your refridgerator should have the follwing liquids for a better diet and better YOU: Milk (Skim or 2%). That's it.

Drinking cold refridgerated water slows down your metabolisim so drink cold tap water (you'll get used to it in 10 days I swear!).

If you need a "fix" for liquid then treat yourself to one serving of it per day but always think about eventaully cutting it down even more. I used to drink some 32 plus oz. of coffee a day and now I'm down to 16 oz./day a year later.

Wanna lose weight? Start right now by drinking water. Exercise 3 - 4 times a week (always check with your physician before starting any exercise plan), eat right like lean meats, plenty of fresh veggies & fruits and stay the heck away from processed or fried foods AT ALL TIMES!!!! No cheating on those, it's just bad for you PERIOD!!!!!

There is no short cut. Sorry, but that's life, no Beach Diet, Clinic Diet, Watching Diet, none of it beats good old fashion DETERMINATION! You'll feel better, you'll look better, and you may even have a date every weekend with your spouse.

Drink Water, It's What's Good For You!

The music's over, and I've ALMOST finished my water! Really--I did get up and get an 8-oz. bottle of water--although it was cold. Drank about half of it before I saw where you say cold water slows your metabolism.

Now about those liquids in the fridge being just milk. What about 100% fruit juice, or getter yet, juice you've squeezed yourself? What about that vitamin waters that are so popular now? I've read the label, and it doesn't look bad (am I missing something?). My husband drinks those all the time.

Juices are vitamin waters are not really real, not from natural at least like real fruit. Organic is best because it retains more nutrients than non-organic. I am drink fresh pressed apple juice though. You can make your own juice from fruit, thats okay!

I think vitamin water is harmless, just a waste of money. If you really need a vitamin supplement, take a pill, it's much cheaper.

Fruit juice--not as bad as soda or other "junk drinks", but a fair amount of calories and sugar, and it doesn't have the fiber or highly nutritious peel of real whole fruit.

Believe me, I love my cup of plain tap water!

The water in my town is NOT very good! I will see things floating in the water... gross! So I only drink the tap if I'm out of my bottled water. I always drink my bottled water at room temperature because I get brain freezes easily since I tend to chug my water at times. I remember going out of town to visit family and saw the ice cubes they had were perfectly clear, while they are white here from all the minerals. The tap looks like it has dust floating in it at the bottom so I try to drink it fast if I do so!

I agree that water is the best... I feel good after drinking lots of water and get headaches when I don't have enough. I notice a huge difference... I also don't get as hungry when I drink a good amount of water. I'll admit that I drink diet sodas.. .but not all the time and I buy them on occasion.
