How to get enough electrolytes?

My lips keep drying out and peeling all the time, so my dermatologist said i need not only water but electrolytes to keep the water in my system but I don't like drinking sports drink because my teeth are weak and i try to stay away from anything with tons of sugar.

I was wondering if any of those drips where the mix fruit and veggies has electrolytes? I hate eating fruit and veggies so i get in a juice usually something that is 100% so i know its healthy. Would the mix of fruit and juices be good or just plain juice or 100 vegetable juice? I cant stand to eat most fruits or veggie by themselves i have to have them in a juice so i can take it quick.

Re: How to get enough electrolytes?

There are 2 main electrolytes: potassium and sodium.
Most people get too much sodium in their diets, so I would not worry about that.

These juices are loaded with potassium: orange, tomato, V8 and prune. Also grapefruit has a fair amount. If you drink tomato and veg juice, I would buy the low sodium. Interestingly, coffee has a high potassium content, but of course coffee can dehydrate you, which would offset some of your water intake.

Hope this helps.
