Are their any non soy vegan meals?

I don't eat meat, but I do eat fish. Recently I had to cut down on my dairy products, to see if it would help my eczema. It did. So this leads me to believe I'm allergic to dairy products. I was buying a lot of those vegetarian Morning Star foods, and I started to get the eczema back. They are made with soy and I'm pretty sure I'm ALSO allergic to that. I cannot find one vegan meal that doesn't have soy in it. By vegan meal I mean box meals, not fruits and vegtables.

Are there any vegan meals that aren't made with soy?

Re: Are their any non soy vegan meals?

You may find more choices if you look in some ethnic foods, such as Indian, Italian, or Greek/Turkish/Arab/Mediterranean, which include vegetarian entrees but do not use soybeans (though some may use milk or yogurt).

Of course, you could also roll your own with some tortillas, a can of beans, and some salsa.

Since you eat fish, a sushi plate would fit the no milk and no soybeans (if you do not use any soy sauce) requirements, although it is obviously not vegan. If you prefer not to eat fish, you can look for vegetarian sushi plates.

A bag of frozen vegetables may help add more vegetables to any meal -- just microwave them for a bit and add to your meal.

Do the box meals need to be shelf stable for more than a few hours? (e.g. for camping or disaster preparedness)

Re: Are their any non soy vegan meals?

Cafferata makes vegan + soy free frozen pastas, one with artichoke and another with olives. I've never had it myself but I've heard they're very good.

Amy's frozen foods has several, including California Veggie Burger, different types of burritos, Mexican Tamale pie (like a "shepards pie"), Indian style foods, cereal bowls, toaster pops and their new frozen organic cakes.

I think Kashi's Black Bean Mango frozen dinner is vegan/soyfree, I don't know about the rest of their line.

Turtle Mountain has a line of vegan/soyfree coconut milk ice cream! Ok, so it's not exactly a "meal" . . . unless you have it with pie.
