Tea...green or black. Lots of good stuff in both but green tea seems to be the healthiest.

In addition to the green or black tea and the water with a lemon twist in it, I would also suggest herbal teas.

I notice most recommendations relate to tea, and I often want something cold rather than hot - especially when I am tired of water. What you can do is make a big pot of tea, put in in a jug and refrigerate it. You can also add spices to make it more flavourful. In Cape Town South Africa we have a very healthy tea called Rooibos, which is growing in poularity all over the world and I know it has been exported to the USA. See if you can find it, I highly recommend it - no bad stuff in it.
