I think you should concentrate on eating a wide variety of vegetables. Vegetables, vegetables and more vegetables. Possibly you will require a little whole grain but not too much (half slice of whole grain bread with your meal), and a fair amount of lean protein (3 to 4 ounces with a meal).
That's it! Vegetables are the key.....lots of vegetables. And go easy on the dressing. A teaspoon or two of olive oil and a teaspoon or two of lemon juice. (We're talking about whole foods; forget about processed foods.)
