I know some people don't like the idea of a smoothie for breakfast but I really like them, so here is my recipe and the calories/nutrition info. Could other fans of smoothies list their favorite and the nutrition info? I'd like more variety.
Ice
1 cup 1% milk
1 teaspoon Spectrum - Organic Ground Flax Seeds
2 scoops Protein Powder -Chocolate or Vanilla (whey and pea)
2 teaspoons Benefiber
1 tablespoon fresh ground peanut butter (no sugar added)
1/2 banana
Calories 480
Fat 17g (only 2g are saturated fat)
Sodium 309mg
Fiber 10g
Carbs 48g
Protein 40g
I have raspberries for the fiber (8g per cup) and a mixed greens salad with grilled chicken breast for lunch with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing (or a balsamic vinaigrette). That's generally around 500 calories as well and more protein than carbs.
Dinner has lots of variety but is always in the 600-800 calorie range.
Thanks for reading and please reply with any smoothie suggestions or diet tweaks that would make it more healthy.

I have been told before that 5 smaller meals would be better than just the 3 meals but I rarely snack. If I do it's just an apple or a light string cheese.
