If I take ground flaxseed with breakfast, and green tea with lunch...

If I take ground flaxseed with breakfast, and green tea with lunch, will it be beneficial for cholesterol or blood pressure? Will it be safe? I'm just trying to find ways to lower my blood pressure and cholesterol.

green tea helps fight inflammation, so definitely drink it, as for lowering blood pressure, 2 cups a day of hibiscus tea was found as effective as a BP med! it was found to lower BP by 10 points in 4 weeks. Flaxseed is one of the top 10 superfoods and helps keep the heart healthy.

I would take a comprehensive approach. Look at everything in your diet, look at exercise and stress control. That would be the best way to achieve (lasting) good health, in my opinion.

Looking for superfoods suggests to me that you might be trying to counteract lots of less than ideal (or poor) food choices in your diet.
