Is it ok to mix bitter melon juice with carrot juice or tomato juice
if we mix two vegetable juices, do they lose their qualities because of chemical interaction with each other's particles
or do they become harmful in any way, which they would not be if consumed alone ? I am taking case of bitter melon. I can not drink juice of bitter melon.
I am thinking of mixing it with tomato or carrot or any other vegetable juice. But I am not sure, how would this mixed juice affect body. Will it have same effect like consuming bitter melon juice alone ?
Re: Is it ok to mix bitter melon juice with carrot juice or tomato juice
I have never heard of there being a problem with chemical interactions if you mix different food items together. The only thing I have heard of being a problem is mixing fruit with other foods like vegetables, grains or protein etc.. Some experts claim that, for good digestion and assimilation, fruit should be eaten 1/2 hour to 1 hour before a meal.
Note: I prefer eating fresh whole fruits and vegetables because they contain natural fiber and fiber is extremely important for your health. (Fiber from suplements or 100% whole bran is not the same.)
