Am I eating enough for the amount that I workout?
Well I started about 8 months ago running 3 miles a day but since have increased to 7-9 miles a day. On the day's that I run 9 miles it seems like nothing I eat will quench my hunger. This is my diet plan I am trying to lose weight but I dont want to be starving myself either. This is what I eat in a day.
Morning after run: 1 bagel with 2 slices of cheese and 2 eggs and cream cheese
meal 2 (snack) protien bar that is 290 calories
Meal 3 Dinner 4 boneless chicken thighs vegetables and a bowl of soup
meal 4 (snack) Jacks links beef jerky 100 calorie pack
Meal 5 (last of day) a can of tuna fish mixed with mayo and 3 slices of cheese.
I also weightlift 3 times a week. I am a 26 year old male, weigh 215lbs and am 6'4. What do you guys think? The time that I usually feel that I am not eating enough and starving is right after meal 2 I was thinking instead of just having that be a protein bar maybe incorporate a real meal in there like a sandwich or something.
I am open to any and all suggestions, thanks!
