 feeling of fullness in throat
hi ..Im hoping someone can help me here as i may be over reacting but im scared to death. Im a Canadian student going to school here in the states and only have emergency health care. For the past couple weeks I have been experiencing a feeling of pressure in my throat, almost like something is there..like i have to belch or something but cant. When i do belch often times food or liquid comes up. I am not feeling any abdominal pain or chest pain. I really can not afford to go get a endoscopy. Will Prilosec alleviate this? I guess what Im asking is..is the fullness in the throat associated with acid reflux? I do not at this time have any problem swallowing.I believe that is what i have as I dont eat as well as i should and i ingest alot of caffeine and i smoke. Any help you all could give would be greatly appreciated. I dont even wanna think about how much a test like this would cost me..so Im trying to try some OTC remedies first. Any ideas?
