Update for MOM22 - Digestive Disorders Message Board

Hello,
I had my endoscopy and colonoscopy done this morning. Just wanted to let you know that it was as easy as everyone says it is. You wont remember a thing. (I am a big baby when it comes to this stuff) I'm telling you the truth..it was so simple. The prep the day before was worse than the procedure. (Just stay near the bathroom) My results were, GERD, IBS, Gastritis, Internal and external HEMS!!!! In other words, I am the poster child for digestive problems. Thank the lord though.....no Barrett's or Cancers. He did do a biopsy of something that he did not seem to be too concerned about. Keep me posted on how you do. Try to relax before then though, it really was easy, and to tell you the truth....the sedation was probably the best sleep I have had in a month.

Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear it was easy to go through. And I'm glad there were not any cancers found. Hopefully you can get on the right track to get relief from your digestive problems. I still have a couple of weeks before I go but I'll try not to stress about it. I'll let you know how I make out.
