If a doctor has determined that there is no medical cause then it might be foods in your diet. Try eliminating one item at a time for a 3-4 days then try another. My problems were with bananas, gravies, sauces and mayonaise.

Other common causes include swallowing air when eating, carbonated beverages and a recent increase of fiber in your diet.

You might also try probiotics and/or an internal cleansing product like Gaia Herbs Supreme Cleanse. It's a package of psyllium fiber and herb extracts that you take on a daily schedule for two weeks. I'm into week two with much improvement.

Foods that might be a problem:

Most beans, especially dried beans and peas, baked beans, soy beans, lima beans

Milk; ice cream; and cheese

Cabbage; radishes; onions; broccoli; Brussels sprouts; cauliflower; cucumbers; sauerkraut; kohlrabi; asparagus

Potatoes; rutabaga; turnips

Prunes; apricots; apples; raisins; bananas

All foods thst contain wheat and wheat products including cereals, breads, and pastries. Check labels.

Pan-fried or deep-fried foods; fatty meats; rich cream sauces and gravies; pastries. (While fatty foods are not carbohydrates, they too can contribute to intestinal gas.)
