Just got my U/S results back:

No gallstones
Two GB polyps
Fatty infiltration in liver (unremarkable)
Pancreas normal
Kidney (R) normal
Aorta normal

However, I'm still having symptoms:

Upper abd. pain (under rib cage)
Back pain (between shoulder blades)
Occasional reflux
Belching
Intermittent diarrhea/constipation
Abd. gurgling

I left a message for my doctor that the next step I want is to see a gastroenterologist. I alread had an H. Pylori blood test (negative), but I want a biopsy done, because I hear that the blood test isn't reliable if you've never had H. Pylori before.

What questions should I ask the GE? HIDA scan, endoscopy, etc.?

You are correct about the blood test. It's usually a follow up test AFTER H-pylori has been diagnosed. I think that seeing a GE is a good way to go and I would first let him/her go over your tests to see what suggestions he/she may have. Depending on his answer, I would then sugeest other tests if he doesn't include them in his dx. Good luck!
