Liver flush? Lemon Juice?

Ive seen a few sites that claims lemon juice and some other stuff can make gall stones come out. Ive seen pictures of stones that people allegedly "passed". Pass? They showed huge (walnut sized) jagged stones, some were green with yellow highlights and some brownish orange. Is this bologna or what? If I can do this safely without having to have the gallbladder removed that'd be pretty flippin sweet. I have episodes where when I'd yawn or inhale deeply I would feel intense pain under my ribcage on the right side. It almost feels like something is tearing at something in there. Sometimes I swear I can feel painful "snaps" or "pinches". I think my bladder is packed full of stones, just like my mothers' was.

My mom had gallstones, had her gallbladder removed and she has irregular bowel movements now. Sometimes after she eats the food will go right through. I dont want my GB removed, I need it I think .

Re: Liver flush? Lemon Juice?

A lot of the results of gallbladder removal can vary between people. I had mine out at the beginning of April, and I have absolutely no regrets. Other than the scars, there is no evidence that I ever had a problem or surgery. I feel great and have no issues. However, there are other people who get the surgery and still have pain, or have bowel problems, or all kinds of other stuff.

I read about those flushes, but never had the courage to try. A lot of them sound rather unpleasant. Also, I was worried about it causing problems. If you read about gallstones, you will see that they can cause life-threatening emergencies if they get caught at certain places in the ducts between the gallbladder and the intestines. So I was afraid that it would dislodge stones that would end up getting caught somewhere and require emergency surgery or something.

You should see a doctor and get the diagnostic tests done, then you can discuss treatment options. An ultrasound will show whether or not you have stones. Then you can talk about treatments, the need for treatment, and the risks and benefits of each available treatment.

When I got mine out, there were tons of stones, and the biggest one was over an inch in diameter. Not something I'd like to try to pass through any of my natural body openings. I am quite satisfied with having it removed while I was fast asleep.

Hope that helps.

Re: Liver flush? Lemon Juice?

ok. I figured it would just be better to go to the doc. im a little afraid they'd recommend surgery right away, without even considering what other options are available. What I saw on those gallstone flushing sites was simply crazy, I couldnt believe stones the size of walnuts could come out from anywhere in the body, except from an incision from surgery. Before I wrote this reply I searched the board and read many mixed results about GB removal and remedies. Its really confusing.

Thanks for your post. I appreciate it kehorner.

Re: Liver flush? Lemon Juice?

I think there is a way to crack gallstone into small pieces using high energy ultrasonic waves, which break gallstone into small pieces.

If you have doubts about the flushing being a hoax,
You could confirm if flushing was successful by doing ultrasonic scanning, same way doctors determined you had gallstone in the first place.

Re: Liver flush? Lemon Juice?

Raven,
I have done a liver flush several times and have eliminated from just a few stones (bright green accretions of hardening cholesterol/bile/god-know's what) to close to 100 last time.
It is a GODSEND and anyone who would opt for surgery instead of trying this completely noninvasive way to clear gallstones is being MIGHTY foolish, IMNSHO.

About 15 years ago I suffered endless bouts of wavelike pain every time I ate a large fatty meal. After my second flush, this NEVER occurred again. I do a flush about once a year whenever I start feeling a slight "fullness" under my right ribcage for several days/weeks.

The process is a HUGE chore but really consumes only one day when there really is little you can do but stay at home, and rest...keep the TV near the toilet!
I do a variant on Hulda Clarke's method but I take only one dose of epsom salts before bed...her method of starting HOURS before bed is too risky (if you catch my drift.)

I STRONGLY advise you try it.

Grapefruit Juice is an easier sub for the lemon juice but either is good...cider vinegar is also and ANY oil can be subbed for the olive oil. I used canola last time!
