5 year old ingestion of peroxide part of stomach tissue now in freezer multiple emessis 1 zofran worked 30 hrs then again 3 more times within 48 hrs after 30 hrs. Doc prescribed 15mg prevacid for pain 3 weeks later. I read the insert and didn't like what it said with all the known side effects and carcenogenic prostate risk even though she is a girl. Does the hair fall out and do you get adrenal dysfunction do you get dizzy and nausea. does it give you a spike in h.pylori activity which causes ulcers. is it a fungacide and cortizone mixed with something else? Can I break the pill in quarters and have it work she is only 39 lbs.

Does anyone know of a good gastroenterologist that does endosco on pedi patients regularly in TX. What should we know before we get there. Appt Oct. 6- Can I demand an endoscopy?

Pain on her right upper quadrant(Navel being the center) below mid rib area through the back. Anyone have any ideas?

Is ultrasound better than endoscopy.
